Christmas Message from Cynthia Robinson

Dear Members,

As 2019 draws to a close, I would just like to say a massive thank  you to all our members who have been  very active this year and again very successful.   We have had seniors and juniors representing ECRC at various BRC National Championships (we even have a National Style champion, who was part of the Winning Area 19 team)!

What was new this year?  We introduced a wider range of training clinics at affordable prices.   These are open to all our members and all abilities and 2020 dates have now been uploaded to the website.  We started an endurance squad and we are actively seeking new team members to join.  If you  love hacking  this is a great opportunity to ride through some stunning locations .  Club clothing is now also available with details on our website.  It will be lovely to see members out and about in the new gear and promoting the club. To all of the ECRC committee your help and support over this last year has been invaluable . We had to say goodbye to three members , who will be a great loss to the club.  If anyone is looking to join the committee, please contact anyone of us for more info. We strive to be an inclusive club and welcoming for everyone.  And last but not least – a huge thank you to our volunteers, both members and non members.  We cannot run our events without you and you have been truly amazing through 2019.

So what is new for 2020?  Watch out for details of our new junior camp at Centyfield; and for details of our coach trips to the best national equine events. Keep checking our website for news and updates.

Thank you , for all your support over 2019.  We wish you all a happy and successful 2020 . Happy  Christmas to you all.

Amazing 51 Volunteer Hours Given at Xmas SJ!

A very big thank you from the ECRC Committee for everyone, members and non members,  who helped out at the Christmas SJ earlier this month – whether it was with setting up; running the competition; or clearing away after – a staggering 51 hours given in total  (without counting the hours given by  committee members). Your hours given have all been recorded and will count towards the annual awards which will be made at the 2020 AGM.

Also thank you to everyone who took part – again, all members who took part, whether or not you were placed,  will have scored points towards the annual club points awards.  We hope too you enjoyed it as much as we did!

2019 Club Awards

Awards were given as follows at the 2019 AGM, both under the club points scheme and for volunteering hours, of which an amazing 520  were contributed through 2019.  Our congratulations and thanks to everyone involved:
